Molly Allison holds an Advanced Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Washington. She is a board certified Shoulder to Hand Therapist and board certified upper and lower body Structural Integration Specialist. After graduate school, she completed a 4 year, 2,000 hour training in Fascia, the body’s largest organ of connective tissue. Her extensive background in connective tissue has greatly impacted her clinical practice, with successful outcomes for the hyper-mobility population.
Molly is the owner and founder of Holistic Orthopedics, an Ortho-Sensory Wellness Center in Seattle, and two-time recipient of the Best Practice Award in the state of Washington. Holistic Orthopedics houses a team of nationally certified therapists well equipped to treat hyper mobility and offer treatments such as: Customized Silver Ring Splinting, Hand Therapy, 1:1 Medical Therapeutic Yoga, 1:1 Pilates, Sensory Integration, Trauma Informed Care, Pelvic Floor / Women’s Health, Holistic Nutritional / Registered Dietician support, Bowenwork, Craniosacral Therapy and more.
Molly is an international speaker and teacher on the topic of fascial tensegrity and functional kinesiology. Her graduate research was a national study which focused on upper extremity pain in individuals with spinal cord injury. Much of her professional career was at Harborview Medical Center, Seattle’s Level I Trauma Hospital, in burns, rehabilitation and orthopedics. She worked in a leprosy hospital in Nepal, and for 30 years, has been researching, studying and treating connective tissue disorders. Her approach to successful outcomes considers the critical balance of fascial length, enabling functional alignment of hyper-mobility joints, while combining sensory integration for calming the nervous system.
